Google doesn't exactly make it easy for novices to navigate around in Google Analytics. And one of the first things people want to do is assign some administrative privileges to their website helper. So I'm going to show you how to add an administrative helper to your Google account. So you go to your analytics.google. Com environment and you should see the property of your website up here. If you don't see the property, then go in and select the right property for... Some of you will have multiple properties depending on how many websites you have. So that's where you select your property. But once you're at the correct website domain, just go down here on the lower left of the Admin button and click Admin. From there, go to User Account Management. And you should see a page that pops up like this with a blue button in the top right corner where you can add somebody else to the account. Now, if you don't have that blue button up in the top right, you are not the administrator of the account or you don't have administrative privileges. And you're going to need to figure out whose login actually has the administrative privileges for your Google Analytics.

But assuming you see this little blue plus button, all you do is click it and you select Add User. And here you can enter the email address of the person you want to add. And then you give the proper amount of privileges. Now, if you only need somebody to be able to read and analyze the data, then this is sufficient. But if you're giving access to somebody who needs to be able to set goals and help you plan projects, then you need to give the edit capabilities. And you only want to give Manage Users access to somebody that you are going to trust to add different users to the account so you don't have to do it every time. So once you've selected the right level of permissions, just click Add, and that person will receive an email and they can go in through their own Google Analytics account and accept the administrative privileges. And after that, they can log into their own Google Analytics and look at your property without ever having to log in through your administrative account. So that's the best way to do it.
