Some email systems allow you to show a link at the top of the email that says "View in Browser" or "View on Web Page." Not Keap.
Keap customers will often ask if they can show a "View in Browser" or "View on Web Page" link at the top of emails. This feature, referred to as "Hosted Email" by Keap, was available on Infusionsoft, and then on Keap Max and Keap Pro when those products were introduced.
Hosted Email was originally developed by email marketing systems as a way for people using older email clients to see HTML email. The older email clients were able to render text and embedded images but were not able to show the more stylized emails created with HTML.
Some companies also used that hosted email link as a way to share email promotions to social media.
Infusionsoft (the parent company of Keap) posted in its customer communications that on November 10, 2020, the hosted email feature would no longer be available in any Keap or Infusionsoft application. The reason given was that modern smart phones and email clients could all display HTML. So, if you remember being able to show a link to the browser page for an email, and can no longer figure out how to do it, you are not crazy! This feature was retired.
