Collect Payments and Manually Apply Payments to Invoices in HubSpot

It's easy to collect your money on HubSpot. Here's a quick video to show you how.

HubSpot makes it really easy to collect your money. Here are just a couple of things that you can do in HubSpot, including manually applying payments to invoices. If you're in a deal or a company or a contact associated with a deal, in this right-side panel, depending on how you have your HubSpot system organized, you can find lots of options for collecting money. You can create a payment payment link by creating a new link or adding a link that exists in the system and pushing the payment link to the client for quick online payment. You can apply a payment that's already been received in the system by adding it to a particular record. You can convert a quote to an invoice, which we show in a separate video, and then send the invoice for online payment, or you can apply a manual payment to an invoice by expanding the invoice, hovering over the invoice you want to apply the payment to, click the Preview screen, then on your Actions tab in the Preview screen, click Record Payment, and here you can record the payment amount and date and any reference information and notes about that payment, and then you can automatically send a receipt to the customer.
