How Do I Remove a User from HubSpot

When a user of HubSpot leaves, should I Deactivate or Remove them? How do I do it? And what is the difference?

The process to remove or deactivate a HubSpot user is largely the same.

To Deactivate (QuickPath)

Click Settings > Users & Teams > Select User > Click the ACTIONS Tab > Deactivate User > Unassign paid seat and deactivate user OR Keep paid seat and deactivate user

To Remove (QuickPath)

Click Settings > Users & Teams > Select User > Click the ACTIONS Tab > Remove from Account
