You've received an invitation to join a HubSpot account. This is going to transform the way you work. Let me just show you really quickly how to accept that invite and get rolling. Once you receive the invite in your inbox, simply click the button that says Join HubSpot, and that's going to take you take you to a pop up window asking you to create your account. It will ask you to search for job roles. And the reason that it's doing this is that it wants to make sure that you're matched up with the features that you're most likely to use. But of course, you will have all of the features available to you depending on the access you've been given by the person who invited you. But if you just start typing here, you will find a bunch of roles popping up. So pick the role that looks closest to you. Don't spend a bunch of time worrying about it. If you don't see your role, just pick something close and hit Next. Then you need to create a password. It's going to prompt you to set up your two factor authentication right now. Depending on the security settings of the HubSpot platform you've been invited to, you may be required to set a 2FA.

But even if you're not required to set it, you will always be encouraged to set it because that's just a much better discipline to use on the internet today. As you can see, this account requires 2FA to log in, so there's no option to move on beyond it. The only option is to cancel and return to login, or you can set up the 2FA. So I'm just going to do that very quickly. And I'll set it up to a text. As you can see, the next button occurs. Now I'm just waiting for the text to arrive on that device so I can enter the code, and it's going to ask me to save the backup codes. And that's it. Now that I've set up one of the 2FA options, I can continue to HubSpot. And then it's going to ask you to give a sense of your familiarity with HubSpot. And that's because, again, it's going to refine the kinds of suggestions it makes to you based on your familiarity. So if you say I've never used CRM tools before, then it's going to give you more instructions. And I encourage you to let those pop up instructions occur.

That will help you learn the system faster. And then indicate which area of the system you plan to use the most, and boom, you're in. So that's all it takes to accept an invitation into a HubSpot account.
