Werx.Marketing can help you manage your Google My Business profile. Here's the secure way to give us access as an agency partner.

Google My Business is important for search engine optimization and domain authority, and it plays an important role in your marketing toolbox. Here's a quick instruction to show you how to grant your marketing partner secure, controlled access to your Google My Business account.

  • The instruction applies to those who have already set up and verified their account.
  • To begin, go to the Google My Business address, business.google.com.
  • Click on the business name you wish to add an administrator for.
  • Look for the hamburger menu and click on Business Profile Settings.
  • Click on the Managers option to open up the manager page.
  • Enter the email address of the person you wish to add. If you are adding your Werx.Marketing partner, enter support@smallbusinesswerx.com.
  • Choose the access you want to give them, either manager or owner.
Selecting owner does not transfer ownership of the business profile.
  • Hit the invite button to complete the process.
  • Your marketing partner will receive an email invitation.
With that permission, the marketing partner can log into their own account and manage the business.

A quick instruction for how to add another administrator to your Google My Business account. This instruction is for people who have already set up your Google My Business account and verified it. To begin, go to your Google My Business address, which is business.google. Com. You can also navigate to your profile if you know the direct link, but most people don't, so this is the easiest way to go after it. Next, click on the business name that you wish to add an administrator for, and this will take you to your Google My Business page. Look for the hamburger menu, click that to reveal the vertical menu, and then click Business Profile Settings, and you'll get a new pop up. Click on the Managers option to open up the manager page. And you'll be able to see anyone who's already set up as a manager on that account. And just above all of those names is this little Add button. Put in the email address of the person that you wish to add. If you're adding Work Smart marketing the email address to add is support@ smallbusineswerx.com. Underneath, you choose what access you want to give them.

In most cases, all you need to select is manager. But if you want your administrative partner to be able to edit your profile and add other managers to your profile, then you would select owner. Now, when you select owner, you are not automatically transferring ownership of the business profile. This piece scares people. There's another level of ownership which doesn't even exist on this access page, and that's the primary owner of the account. But if you were going to transfer the account to another business owner. First, you would have to make that person an owner, and then there would be another instruction for how you would transfer the primary ownership to that owner person. But like I said, most of the time, a manager can do what you need them to do in your Google My Business profile. After that, just hit the invite button and you're done.
